About Creative Flow
Your headphones are on, your favorite song is playing, and you're deep in a world of imagination. You can see the exact scene, game, movie, or story you want to create. You're in a world you enjoy and you think, “I want to create this for others to experience.” Your creative journey has begun—yet you're unsure how to start. I’m here to guide you through your ideas, help you express them, and show you how to harness the one ability no one talks about: your creative flow.
Creative flow is the organic nature of each individual and how we perceive the world around us. Over the last 10 years of working in VFX studios, indie game studios, building brands, and collaborating with content creators, one thing consistently happens: the dreaded creative block. I’ve seen it affect every talented artist and creative I’ve worked with. We’ll be working on a project, everything is firing on all cylinders, and suddenly some—or all—of us get stuck. This is when we hit the creative wall. Ideas feel repetitive, unexciting, or disappear entirely. It’s the worst place for any creative to be. So how do you break through the block?
I’ve created three modules, each designed as a guided quest to help you understand yourself as a creative—your strengths, your blockages, and how to access your creative flow. Because creative flow is fluid, like water, these modules become your own personal journey, tailored specifically to you.
Once you’ve completed your quest and defeated the end‑game boss of untamed creativity, you’ll emerge as a creative warrior—one who can continue the fight without rest.
Your Creative Modules
The modules have a simple goal of growing your creative flow. Keeping the flow within each person, and created uniquely to each person. Any medium, profession, and interest will benefit from the modules because they flow into what you need. Below you will see the guidance each module will provide.
Module One
Adventure Begins
The evening before your quest, family and friends of your village threw a large farewell party in the local bar. The crack of dawn, the town wished you fair travels as the gate closed behind you. You turn around to face the path you must take. Your adventure begins!

Module Two
Cave of Torment
You've come a long way, fought many battles, and you're left standing in front of a cave entrance. An eerie feeling washes through your body and shakes you. What's inside makes you feel uncomfortable. You take a step back to ask "am I in the right place?" No where else to go, you take a deep breath and fade into darkness.

Module Three
The Crowned One
New armor, weapons, skills, and magic have been gained. You've navigated puzzles, traps, and monsters larger than you. Standing at the end of a long hallway, you spot two flickering torches in the distance.
On the walls are massive 10ft portraits of various crowned ones, each have a stone engraving explaining who they were. You arrive at a large double door with the two flickering torches. Behind these doors you know it will be your biggest challenge.

Private Sessions
Through your travels you'll have access to a rare spell. Upon casting you'll summon your creative guide. Your creative guide will advise you and help you overcome any challenge you come to.
In-Person Session
Within the comfort of your own home, I'll instruct each module in great detail. All that is needed outside of the materials for each module is a place to work. A large table surface will be best.
Virtual Session
Enjoy your own space or a different location in the world, the virtual session is here for that. The modules will be adjusted to fit a virtual session to give the greatest results.

Group Sessions
On your epic quest you'll meet others along the way. Learn from them, know their story, and you'll become ever more wiser.
In-Person Group Session
The creative flow within a group will be an experience to have. You'll learn from others as we all progress in having great creative flow.
Virtual Group Session
Virtual groups are best when everyone isn't able to make it. You'll experience the creative flow with your group and have the ability to still help each other.

Who is teaching the course?
Hi, I'm Steven!
A combined experience of 10+ years working in VFX for feature films, animator and modeler in indie game studios, brand identity designer for content creators, graphic designer, and instructor.
Over the years of working in studios, in teams, and freelancing, a common event happens with every artist; creative block. When timelines need to be met, pressure of clients, and the drive to create new artwork, the creative block prevents this. Through brute force the creative block can be broken through. Great for short term but long term this hurts our creative flow.
The creative flow course is designed to understand our flow, why it happens, how to maintain it, and grow it creatively for endless ideas.
FAQ
Do I need any specific experience for the course?
No, you don't need any specific experience. An eager mind to learn is all that is required.
Is there an age requirement?
No, all ages are welcome.
What materials and tools will be needed?
Your choice of pencil, pen, and notepad. These will vary and will be mentioned before the course begins.
Can I reschedule a session?
You most certainly can. It's preferred to give a 24 hour notice, however, I do understand unforeseen events happen.
Is it possible to have a mix of in-person and virtual sessions?
Mixing in-person and virtual sessions is doable. Giving as much notice as possible is best for the next session to be properly presented. If you've been having in-person sessions, there needs a be a larger lead time for computer setup, environment, and a distraction free space (that includes the computer screen).
Are you willing to travel to teach our group class?
I do travel to various locations and to best understand the class, location, and day for me to teach; I recommend filling out the form under the group section.
Is there a certificate for the completion of the course?
Currently there is no certificates given. However, there is a future plan for certificates and any student that has completed a module will receive a certificate.
